New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- During the visit, Wahi inspected the OPD block, wards, Paediatric Emergency Block, ICU and Labour Room. He also interacted with patients to seek feedback on their treatment and the availability of medicines.

The Mayor directed hospital officials to ensure that essential medicines are available on time and asked them to improve cleanliness across the hospital premises.

Wahi also reviewed infrastructure projects currently under way at the hospital, including the upgradation of the Labour Room and the Paediatric Emergency Block. The hospital's ICU, which presently has eight beds, is being expanded to 18 beds.
