New Delhi, June 16 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu visited Khan Market to review the progress of ongoing redevelopment and infrastructure improvement works in one of the capital's prominent commercial hubs.

During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor received a briefing from the Chairperson of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and senior engineering officials on the status and implementation of the project.

Emphasising the importance of high-quality urban infrastructure, Sandhu said that upgrading iconic public and commercial spaces is essential for improving civic amenities, traffic and pedestrian management, and enhancing the overall experience for visitors, tourists and local businesses.
