New Delhi, June 19 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu reviewed the implementation strategy for extending reservation benefits to Ex-Agniveers across various government departments and agencies in the national capital during a meeting with the Chief Secretary, Delhi Police Commissioner and other senior officials.

The Lieutenant Governor directed the implementation of a 20 per cent reservation in direct recruitment to vacant Group 'C' posts, including positions such as Police Constables, Firemen, Jail Warders, Forest Guards and Wildlife Guards. The initiative is being implemented in line with the vision and policy framework of the Government of India.
