New Delhi, July 29 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu laid the foundation stone of a modern dog shelter at Sector-29, Dwarka, to be developed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). The event was attended by Mayor Pravesh Wahi, MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, MLA Kuldeep Singh Gahlot, and other dignitaries.

Spread over approximately 6,050 square metres, the facility is designed to provide safe shelter, treatment, care, and rehabilitation for stray dogs through modern infrastructure aimed at ensuring their welfare and well-being.
