Delhi LG addresses India-Japan Conclave
New Delhi, May 23 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu addressed the India-Japan Conclave and said the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership has emerged as a trusted pillar of regional progress, expanding beyond economic cooperation towards the development of integrated urban ecosystems.
Highlighting Japan's contribution to India's infrastructure transformation, the Lieutenant Governor referred to projects such as the Delhi Metro and the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor. He said Japanese technology, expertise and long-term vision have played a major role in shaping modern infrastructure development in India.
