New Delhi, Feb. 23 -- The Delhi Jal Board has issued a public advisory informing residents about a 48-hour disruption in water supply due to crucial interconnection work at the Dwarka Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The shutdown is being undertaken to facilitate the interconnection of a newly laid 1500 mm diameter twin raw water line to separate the existing 1500 mm diameter twin raw water main of Dwarka WTP at Bhagya Vihar. Officials stated that the work is part of infrastructure strengthening measures aimed at improving the long-term efficiency and reliability of water distribution in the region.
