New Delhi, April 3 -- The Delhi High Court Bar Association has announced that its members will abstain from work on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month, starting April 4, 2026, in protest against the continuation of court sittings on these days.
The decision was taken unanimously by the Executive Committee in its meeting held on March 27, following the notification issued by the Delhi High Court mandating Saturday sittings. The Bar Association noted that despite multiple representations seeking reconsideration of the move, no changes had been made by the court.
