New Delhi, March 14 -- The Delhi government has begun implementing the Summer Action Plan-2026 to ensure adequate water supply across the city during the upcoming summer months.

According to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), the government has initiated preparations in advance so that water supply systems remain functional before temperatures rise significantly and residents do not face shortages during peak summer.

As part of the plan, all water treatment plants will operate at full capacity to meet the rising demand for water in the capital. Authorities will also keep strict monitoring on leakages and wastage of water to ensure efficient use of available resources.
