Delhi Government Extends CSR Support to Education, Health and Tribal Welfare Projects
New Delhi, June 13 -- Under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi Government today provided financial assistance to various institutions under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for projects related to education, healthcare and tribal welfare.
As part of the assistance, Rs.50 lakh was granted to DSGMC for the Guru Harkrishan Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Rs.50 lakh to the Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, for the construction of eight new classrooms in two Akal Academy schools, and Rs.7.46 lakh to the Bharatiya Adim Jati Sevak Sangh for its tribal hostel project.
Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa was present on the occasion.
