New Delhi, June 19 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced special arrangements for candidates appearing in the NEET examination on June 21, including the establishment of Cooling Zones at all 97 examination centres across the capital.

The Cooling Zones will cater to parents and family members accompanying candidates and will provide facilities such as seating arrangements, clean drinking water, shikanji, ORS, tea, first aid and other essential amenities to help them cope with the prevailing summer heat.

The Chief Minister also announced that NEET candidates will be provided free travel in DTC buses on the day of the examination to ensure smooth and hassle-free transportation to examination centres.
