New Delhi, March 21 -- Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood inaugurated a newly constructed swimming pool at SBV C-Block school, marking a step towards strengthening sports infrastructure in government schools.

Highlighting the project's timeline, the minister said the swimming pool, originally initiated in 2018, had remained incomplete and in poor condition until mid-2025. He noted that the project was revived after his inspection, and has now been completed for students' use.

Sood criticised the previous Aam Aadmi Party government, alleging delays and neglect of infrastructure projects. He stated that the current administration is focused on delivering tangible results rather than "politics of publicity."
