New Delhi, July 28 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday inaugurated the 22nd Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship 2026 at Thyagaraj Stadium, marking the beginning of the prestigious international tournament that will run until August 2.

The championship has brought together players, coaches and official delegations from 25 Commonwealth nations. Welcoming the participants, the Chief Minister said Delhi is proud to host the event and expressed hope that every match would showcase sporting excellence while leaving athletes with lasting memories of the national capital.
