New Delhi, March 21 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta flagged off 300 new electric buses from the Indraprastha Bus Depot, dedicating them to the public as part of the government's push towards sustainable urban mobility.
Highlighting the impact of the move, the Chief Minister said the addition of EV buses will improve ease of travel and strengthen connectivity across the city. Over the past year, more than 2,000 electric buses have already been added to the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) fleet, with the government aiming to make the entire public bus system fully emission-free in the coming years.
