Delhi CM chairs review meeting to assess the rapid expansion of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure
New Delhi, July 9 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta chaired a detailed review meeting to assess the rapid expansion of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure for the effective implementation of the city's new EV policy.
The Chief Minister said the government aims to develop around 32,000 EV charging stations across Delhi over the next four years. Modern fast-charging stations will be installed at metro station parking areas, DDA market complexes, shopping malls, railway stations, and other major public locations. Existing slow-charging stations will also be upgraded to fast-charging facilities in a phased manner.
