New Delhi, June 25 -- Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the safety, infrastructure and regulatory compliance of coaching institutes across the capital.

The Minister directed all concerned departments to conduct special inspections and ensure the immediate implementation of safety measures. A comprehensive safety audit of all 923 coaching institutes in Delhi will be carried out.

Sood said the Delhi Government is committed to providing every student with a safe, secure and conducive learning environment and warned that any negligence or compromise on safety standards will not be tolerated.
