New Delhi, April 30 -- Newly elected Mayor Pravesh Wahi addressed a press conference at the headquarters of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi along with Deputy Mayor Dr. Monika Pant and Leader of the House Bhagwan Yadav.

At the briefing, sanitation, quality education and primary healthcare services were identified as top priorities. The leadership also highlighted the need for a permanent solution to legacy waste accumulated at landfill sites and other sanitation-related challenges.

It was stated that advanced sanitation machinery worth Rs.50 crore will be procured to strengthen cleanliness systems, and strict action will be taken against contractors found negligent in maintaining sanitation standards.
