New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- The CBI stated that Chandrakar was wanted in two cases in which chargesheets had already been filed by the agency. He was also facing a case investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in which a prosecution complaint had been filed.

The agency described the extradition as a significant milestone in India's sustained efforts to bring back fugitives operating transnational criminal enterprises against Indian citizens and ensure that they face the due process of Indian law.
