New Delhi, April 11 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has issued an important notice stating that the new deadline for the

Sampatti Kar Niptan Yojana (SUNIYO) 2025-26

has been extended till April 30, 2026.

Under this scheme, taxpayers can avail a full waiver of interest and penalty on pending property tax dues prior to 2020-21, subject to the condition that the principal tax for the current year 2025-26 and the previous five years is paid.

Additionally, tax settlement can be completed with only a 5% late fee, offering a simplified and transparent process for taxpayers.

Citizens have been advised to deposit their taxes within the stipulated time to benefit from the scheme and avoid additional penalties.
