Amit Shah chairs a review meeting in Delhi on the issue of Yamuna rejuvenation
New Delhi, June 9 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level review meeting on Yamuna rejuvenation in Delhi, attended by Union Ministers Manohar Lal and C.R. Patil, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh, and senior officials.
During the meeting, Shah said that cleaning the Yamuna is a key commitment under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stressed the need for coordinated efforts by Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and all concerned ministries through an integrated action plan rather than isolated initiatives.
