New Delhi, May 28 -- Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention has welcomed the arrival of emergency pharmaceutical supplies donated by the Government and people of India to support the ongoing response to the Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The supplies were received in Uganda by Africa CDC's Eastern Africa Regional Collaborating Centre and include essential diagnostic kits, therapeutics, infection prevention and control materials, along with case management support equipment. The materials are expected to be deployed soon to affected communities in eastern DRC.
