New Delhi, March 21 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has intensified its attack on the BJP-led Delhi government over the Palam fire tragedy, alleging serious lapses in emergency response and attempts to suppress facts.
Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj claimed that delays and technical failures by the fire services contributed to the deaths. He alleged that a hydraulic ladder failed to operate in time and that locals were not allowed to use mattresses from a nearby shop for rescue efforts-steps which, he said, could have saved lives.
