New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- The consultations were co-chaired by Additional Secretary (Gulf) in the Ministry of External Affairs Aseem R. Mahajan and Kuwait's Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia Affairs Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmed.

Both sides comprehensively reviewed cooperation in political relations, energy, trade, investment, defence, security, culture and people-to-people ties.

They also discussed measures to deepen cooperation across these areas and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

During his official visit to Kuwait, Mahajan also met Deputy Foreign Minister of Kuwait Hamad Sulaiman Al-Mashaan.
