New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is moving to give consumers a fuller picture of their finances in one place, by bringing bank deposits into the monthly consolidated account statement (CAS) and allowing greater interoperability among account aggregators.

The changes, announced in the October monetary policy review, are aimed at making it easier for consumers to see, track and share financial information across institutions. Both the measures are to be implemented by 31 December, the RBI said.
