New Delhi, June 22 -- Social media platform X, formerly Twitter, appeared to be back online after experiencing a widespread outage on Monday (June 22) that temporarily disrupted services for thousands of users across multiple countries, according to outage-tracking data from Downdetector.

The disruption, which began around 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, triggered a sharp spike in user complaints before gradually easing through the morning.

At its peak, Downdetector recorded more than 35,000 reports of issues from users in the United States around 10:00 a.m. ET.
