Why SBI share price falling despite strong Q1 results? Brokerages remain bullish
New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- State Bank of India (SBI) share price gave up opening bell gains and declined as much as 1.49% on the NSE in Monday's trading session despite the company reporting June quarter results FY27 exceeding market estimates.
SBI shares opened at Rs.1,108 apiece on NSE today, as compared to the previous close of Rs.1,097.20 on Friday last week. The stock touched an intraday low of Rs.1,078 on 10 August.
The stock witnessed a sharp decline amid profit booking. According to NSE data, approximately 94.90 lakh shares were traded on Monday.
SBI, on Friday, August 7, posted a 10.23% year-on-year (YoY) increase in standalone net profit to Rs.21,121.22 crore for the June quarter (Q1FY27), compared with Rs.19,160.44 crore reported...
