New Delhi, Oct. 21 -- Barbara Bush, the daughter of former US President George W Bush, has drawn attention after donating $2,500 (approximately Rs.2.3 lakh) to a political action committee supporting Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico in Texas.

The contribution was made to Lone Star Rising PAC on September 23, according to its third-quarter 2026 filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC). The committee supports Talarico, a Texas state representative running for the US Senate against Republican candidate Ken Paxton.
