Wall Street muted, SK Hynix shares rally 14% in Nasdaq debut
New Delhi, July 10 -- US stock markets traded largely flat on Friday as South Korean semiconductor giant SK Hynix rallied in its debut on Nasdaq.
At 11:57 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 110.06 points, or 0.21%, to 52,597.47, the S&P 500 gained 9.75 points, or 0.13%, to 7,553.35 and the Nasdaq Composite lost 5.36 points, or 0.02%, to 26,201.53.
At the opening bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 135.5 points, or 0.26%, to 52622.92. The S&P 500 rose 4.0 points, or 0.05%, to 7547.64, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 31.4 points, or 0.12%, to 26175.535.
