V2 Retail shares plunge 19% after Q2 business update | What lies ahead for investors?
New Delhi, Oct. 5 -- V2 Retail shares slumped over 19% on Monday, 5 October, after the value-fashion retailer released its Q2 FY27 business update on 2 October. The company reported a 28.4% year-on-year increase in standalone revenue to Rs.905 crore during the quarter.
The company reported same-store sales growth (SSSG) of 0.5% year-on-year in Q2 FY27, compared with a much stronger 7.5% growth recorded in the previous quarter.
Monthly sales per square foot (PSF) stood at Rs.700 in Q2 FY27, lower than Rs.886 reported in Q1 FY27. The company said the quarter did not include the Navratri and Durga Puja festive period, while a significant portion of its store network is still in the ramp-up phase.
