New Delhi, March 2 -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced early Monday the closure of its Embassy in Tehran and the withdrawal of its Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with all members of its diplomatic mission.

The action came in response to the "blatant" Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE's territory," the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement posted on X.
