New Delhi, April 18 -- Donald Trump took to social media to attack Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings hours after the streaming giant announced his departure from its board, as the company simultaneously reported a disappointing quarterly outlook that sent its shares sliding nearly 9 per cent.

Donald Trump wasted little time responding to news of Reed Hastings' exit from the Netflix board. Writing on Truth Social on Saturday, the US president posted: "Was Reed Hastings forced to leave the Netflix Board because he's a SLEAZEBAG? What was his Crime, and how many did he commit?"
