New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- A metal stock has been on a solid uptrend lately, rising almost 60% in the last six months despite weak stock market sentiment. Shares of Sambhv Steel Tubes are up 60% in the last six months compared to a nearly 2% fall in the equity benchmark Sensex.

It hit a 52-week high of Rs.167.30 on 30 September after hitting a 52-week low of Rs.80.70 on 1 February this year.

In intraday trade on Thursday, 1 October, the stock crashed more than 5% due to profit booking amid weak stock market sentiment.
