New Delhi, Oct. 15 -- Tata Trusts has challenged Mehli Mistry's legal standing to contest changes in the composition of Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT) and Sir Dorabjee Tata Trust, arguing that he cannot raise objections after his three-year tenure expired.

The dispute over trustee appointments and the administration of the philanthropic institutions was heard before the Maharashtra Charity Commissioner on Thursday, NDTV Profit reported.
