New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- Delhi recorded 138 new H1N1 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases reported this year to 2,446, the Delhi government said on Wednesday. The cumulative number of Influenza-A cases in the national capital has reached 3,177, according to the government.

H1N1 is currently the most prevalent influenza subtype in the capital, marking a shift from last year when H3N2 was the dominant strain, Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh said.
