Stock market today, April 2 -- The Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, are likely to open on a weaker note on Thursday, as investor sentiment turned cautious after US President Donald Trump stated in an address that American forces would strike Iran "very hard" over the next two to three weeks.
Gift Nifty trends also point to a gap-down opening for the domestic markets, with the index trading around the 22,393 mark - trading down nearly 445 points over the previous close of Nifty futures.
