New Delhi, June 19 -- Music streaming platform Spotify appears to have restored its services after a widespread outage on Friday morning (June 19) left thousands of users unable to access the app and website.

According to outage-tracking platform Downdetector, reports of problems surged around 8 a.m. ET, with more than 4,000 users reporting issues at the peak of the disruption. However, the number of complaints later declined significantly, indicating that services had largely recovered.

The outage affected users across multiple regions, with reports highlighting difficulties accessing Spotify's playlists, streaming music, and logging into accounts.
