New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- Your TV may have a great picture, but its built-in speakers are usually the first thing that remind you that you are not actually in a cinema. The obvious upgrade is a soundbar, but there is another route: a proper home theatre system with speakers placed around the room.

The choice is not simply about which one sounds louder or has more speakers. A soundbar can be easier to live with, while a home theatre setup can make movies and games feel far more immersive.
