New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest lender, has revised interest rates on bulk fixed deposits, with the latest changes largely affecting shorter-term deposits of Rs.3 crore and above.
SBI has reduced rates on domestic bulk term deposits by up to 25 basis points (bps) for select maturities. The revised rates took effect on 15 August 2026, according to information published by the bank.
The latest revision primarily impacts shorter-duration bulk fixed deposits.
For general customers, SBI has lowered the interest rate by 25 bps on bulk deposits with maturities ranging from seven days to 179 days. For deposits with tenures between 180 days and 210 days, the reduction is 10 bps.
