New Delhi, Oct. 9 -- South Africa will take on Australia in a marquee three-match Test series at home, with the first Test in Durban's Kingsmead starting from Friday. This will be Australia's first Test series on South African soil since the 2018 tour, which was rocked by the controversial Sandpapergate scandal.
South Africa announced their playing XI for the first Test on Thursday, a day ahead of the series opener.
