This one line, from Axis AMC's MD & CEO B Gopkumar, captured the mood of the 7th Financial Freedom Fraternity Professional (FFFP) Conference, held in Mumbai from September 25-27. In a year that came with tariff shocks, a war in West Asia and record-high US interest rates, the room full of mutual fund distributors (MFDs) wasn't looking for certainty.
