New Delhi, July 24 -- Amid escalating protests over the alleged NEET paper leak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (July 23) said that the government will unveil even tougher measures to tackle examination fraud in Friday's cabinet meeting.

In a post on X, Modi wrote, "More strict actions against paper leaks to come in tomorrow's Cabinet."

The announcement came hours after he said the government would establish fast-track courts to ensure speedy trials and stringent punishment for those involved in paper leaks.

Earlier in the day, the Delhi High Court notified a designated court to exclusively deal with criminal cases arising from paper leaks and other unfair means used in public examinations.
