New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) allocated 37,793,739 shares worth Rs.6,746 crore at Rs.1,785 apiece to more than 150 anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering (IPO) on September 17, the company said in its filing.

The anchor book saw strong demand from both domestic and foreign institutional investors, with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Government Pension Fund Global, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority-Monsoon and Fidelity Funds-India Focus Fund among the top investors.
