New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Tuesday launched the Hub & Spoke International Flight Operations from Ahmedabad, which makes Ahmedabad the latest city to be connected to the Hub & Spoke framework for the movement of international passengers.

The first two cities where this framework was launched were Varanasi (on 25 June, 2026) and Amritsar (on 26th July, 2026).

"Today, with the addition of Ahmedabad, we are taking another significant step towards creating an integrated, seamless and passenger-centric aviation network that connects India's regions directly with the world through our own hub airport at Delhi," the ministry said in a press release.
