New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- Nneka Ogwumike has decided this will be her final season in the WNBA. The 15-year veteran and Los Angeles Sparks forward shared the news on Wednesday during an appearance on Boardroom Talks, confirming she will step away after the 2026 campaign.

She leaves the game while still performing at a high level. This season she is averaging 16.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and three assists per game. Her decision comes from a place of contentment rather than decline.
