New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar's personal assistant Ajit Dashavatare's 15-year-old daughter was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Baramati in Maharashtra's Pune district on Sunday, officials said.

Police said an investigation was underway and that all possible angles were being examined. The girl's body was recovered from near her home in the Sainagar area of Rui village in Baramati tehsil on Sunday morning.

According to PTI citing sources, the girl had a minor disagreement with her mother over an issue on Saturday and left home in anger. When she failed to return, her family approached the police and lodged a missing complaint.
