New Delhi, Nov. 1 -- State-owned National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) Ltd has sold residential apartments covering approximately 8.80 lakh sq ft at Avenue Towers in Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi, for around Rs.5,191 crore.

The proceeds from the sale will be used to finance redevelopment projects of the Central Government. The transaction was completed through an e-auction, placing the large-scale residential property sale among the significant government-linked real estate transactions in the national capital.
