New Delhi, Aug. 16 -- A mutual fund distributor (MFD) is an intermediary who helps investors access mutual fund schemes and provides assistance with investing. For example, an MFD may help an investor select a suitable scheme, start a SIP, understand investment risks, or stay invested during market volatility.
