New Delhi, Nov. 8 -- The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will remain open for a special Muhurat Trading session on Sunday, November 8, 2026, to mark Diwali Laxmi Pujan. The one-hour session will be held from 2:20 pm to 3:30 pm, even though Sunday is a regular market holiday.

Muhurat Trading is a special stock market session held every year around Diwali and is traditionally considered an auspicious occasion to begin investments. The session also marks the start of the new Hindu financial year, Samvat 2083.
