New Delhi, May 4 -- The wait for MS Dhoni in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) extended to nine matches in-a-row after the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) talisman has reportedly skipped their trip to Delhi. Dhoni was initially ruled out for two weeks due to a calf strain he suffered during training prior to the start of IPL 2026. But its been more than a month, that Dhoni is still unavailable, a clear indication that he is still not match-ready. Having said that, the CSK officials are still hopeful that the five-time IPL-winning captain will play at some point of time in IPL 2026.
