Moises Henriques smashes maiden T20I century for Portugal: Why former Australia star switched allegiance
New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- Former Australia all-rounder Moises Henriques played a knock of 111 off just 51 balls against Czechia in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier C in Finland on Thursday.
Henriques' blistering knock, which contained 12 fours and seven sixes, came at a strike rate of 217.64 and helped Portugal post 211/6 from their 20 overs. Rain then interrupted Czechia's chase, with their target revised to 116 from 8.5 overs under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. Czechia managed only 24/5 in those 8.5 overs as Portugal secured a 91-run victory.
Henriques was eventually named the Player of the Match for his heroics with the bat.
