LPG cylinder price today, 2 April: Updated domestic and commercial gas rates in Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata
New Delhi, April 2 -- The impact of Middle East conflict can be seen in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder prices which were revised on 1 April. A price hike was witnessed in 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder and 5kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinder price. Commercial cooking gas became costly for the second time since the Iran war with US-Israel began on 28 March. The first revision of Rs.144.5 came in March which was followed by nearly Rs.200 price hike in April.
Notably, the government hiked 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder prices by Rs.60 last month but no changes in rates have been introduced in this month. In the national capital, Delhi, the cost of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder increased by Rs.194 and by Rs.195 in Mumbai.
